By submitting your entry in this contest, you are agreeing to the contest rules and regulations.

There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the "Art Transforming Lives" Kids With Cameras 2005 Photo Contest. However, a minimum $3.00 USD or $5.00 CDN donation to Kids With Cameras is required to be eligible for the contest. All proceeds will be donated to the Kids With Cameras organization.

Deadlines for entry: The contest begins at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) September 12th, 2005, and closes 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) November 30th, 2005. Entries must be postmarked no later than November 30th, 2005.

How to enter: To enter, send a $3.00 USD or $5.00 CDN donation (either by cash, cheque made payable to Kids-With-Cameras or a printed confirmation receipt from donations made at www.kids-with-cameras.org) along with a completed entry form, attached to back of one, unframed, 4"x6" to 8"x10" unmounted/unmatted print or digital file on disc. For US submissions, send entry to Kids With Cameras 2005 Photo Contest c/o THINKFilm, 23 East 22nd, 5th Floor, New York, NY, 10010. For Canadian submissions, send entry to Kids With Cameras 2005 Photo Contest c/o THINKFilm, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 906, Toronto, Ontario, M4P1E4. Photos must be suitable for viewing by the general public regardless of age. Illegible and incomplete entry forms are ineligible. One entry form per person. Photos must have been taken by the entrant within the past year. Previously published photos are acceptable. Participants must know the names and addresses of all identifiable people in their photo and may be required to provide supporting evidence. Winners will be required to declare that the photo submitted is entirely original, that they are the author of the photo and that they hold all rights pertaining to the photo. Mechanically reproduced entry forms are acceptable. All photos as well as entry forms become the property of THINKFilm. No acknowledgement of receipt will be sent and no photo will be returned. You may also obtain an entry form by writing: THINKFilm, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 906, Toronto, ON, Canada, M4P1E4 or by downloading it from: www.thinkfilmcompany.com or www.kids-with-cameras.org. Only one prize will be awarded to each immediate family/household. You must provide the slide or negative of the winning photo, if requested. All pictures must be original photographs. Amateur photographers only‹no professional photographers may enter. We reserve the right to publish winners' photos. We are not responsible for lost or misdirected entries. Taxes on all prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Sorry, photos cannot be returned. A statement that the entry complies with all U.S. and international copyright laws will be required before any prizes can be awarded.

Judging: Any photo can win! Prints will be judged only on color and content. The photo's sharpness will be judged relative to November 30th, 2005. Eligible winners will be chosen by a jury appointed by THINKFilm. Selection will be based on who has best succeeded in capturing the theme of the Contest: Inspiration? Eligible winners will be selected on January 2nd, 2006, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at 12:00pm (EST). The choice of Eligible Winners, as well as the interpretation and enforcement of the Contest Rules shall be determined by the Jury. Jury decisions are final.

How are Winners notified: The Eligible Winners will be notified by mail after January 2nd, 2006 ('Prize Notification'). The Eligible Winners will receive a declaration and release form. An Eligible Winner will forfeit the prize and THINKFilm reserves the right to select one alternate Eligible Winner if: (1) any Prize Notification is returned to THINKFilm as undeliverable; (2) the declaration and release form is unsigned; (3) the declaration and release form. If all required conditions are met, an Eligible Winner will be declared a Winner ('Winner') and THINKFilm will deliver the prizes to the Winners, by courier. Any claim for the prize submitted after February 28th, 2006, will be null and void. If THINKFilm is unsuccessful after 2 attempts to identify a Winner, THINKFilm reserves the right to not award the prize or to award the prize to a charity of THINKFilm's choice. THINKFilm is not responsible for the failure, for any reason, of an Eligible Winner to receive notification or for THINKFilm's failure to receive an Eligible Winner's response.

What are the odds: Odds of being selected as an Eligible Winner is dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

Use of personal information: By entering the Contest, participants agree to the collection, use and disclosure by THINKFilm of their personal information (1) for the purposes of administering the Contest and awarding the prizes, including releasing the name of the Winner to those who request such information in accordance with the section entitled "Winner List" below; and (2) in accordance with THINKFilm's Customer Privacey statement, which can be found at: www.thinkfilmcompany.com.

Winner List: Winner's names will be posted online at www.thinkfilmcompany.com and www.kids-with-cameras.org for the period of January 31st, 2006 to March 1st, 2006. A copy of these rules and the list of winners can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the contest address above, Attn: Winner List, between January 31st, 2006 and May 1st, 2006.

Eligibility: Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. and THINKFilm Associates and their immediate families are not eligible. This offer is void where prohibited by law. In order to be eligible, entrants must make a minimum of a $3.00USD or $5.00CDN donation, all proceeds going to Kids With Cameras. Winners must be 18 years or older. Winners will be notified by mail. This contest is not open to the residents of the province of Quebec.

Donations Reminder for Canadian Citizens: About gifts to U.S. charities; Generally, if you have U.S. income, you can claim gifts to U.S. charities that would be allowed on a U.S. return. You can claim the eligible amount of your U.S. gifts up to 75% of the net U.S. income you report on your Canadian return. However, you may be able to claim the eligible amount of your gifts to certain U.S. organizations up to 75% of your net world income. You can do this if you live near the border in Canada throughout the year and commute to your principal workplace or business in the U.S., which is your main source of income for the year.
